.22LR Metallic Silhouette Match
Date: Sunday, May 12, 2019

Time: Start: 9:30 AM to 02:30 PM (competitors coming after 9:30 will be allowed to compete – last person to line at approximately 12:45pm)

Range: Rifle Range

Targets: Metal Silhouettes of varying sizes set at distances of 25, 50, 75 & 100 yds.

Firearm(s): .22 LR rimfire rifles and handguns of any action in good operational condition. Any sights, optics or iron, allowed but good optics strongly recommended. Slings are allowed but no palm-rests, hooked butt-plates, or shooting jackets. Exception: Physically challenged shooters may shoot from wheelchairs and use customized rifles and rests enabling them to hold firearm safely allowed.

Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection. All competitors MUST attend the safety / match briefing.

Restrictions: No use of rimfire magnums.

Match Description: This event requires shooting from offhand position only. Four offhand firing positions are set to allow competitors to engage four banks of 10 varying sized metal silhouette targets, or automated resetting targets, at ranges of 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Competitors may use slings but no shooting jackets, hooked butt plates, hand rests or other shooting aids allowed (exception – physically challenged shooters may be permitted use of modified firearms specifically designed to allow their safe use. Competitors will be given 4 minutes to fire 10 shots, one at each target, moving from left to right. Silhouette targets must be knocked down to count as hits. The winner(s) will be the competitors (adult, youth <18 yrs. and physically challenged adult/youth in both optics and iron) who knock down the most targets. Multiple relays may be held depending on time and interest. The Match Director will compile scores and determine the winner(s) of the match.

Sight-in Shooting Bench:
A shooting bench will be positioned and targets set for use by competitors prior to starting their relay for sighting in to check scope zeros and make any necessary last minute adjustments. All range safety rules will be followed by rifleman when using the sighting in bench.

.22LR Rifle – Man-On-Man

Range: Pistol Range

Targets: Various steel targets of different sizes and shapes will be used. Placement will be at about 20’ to 25’. Some targets will be reactive and others will not.

Firearm(s) / Ammunition: Any manual or semi-automatic rifle with optics or open sights capable of shooting a .22LR rimfire round is acceptable. Most competitors favor a semi-automatic rifle with optics and detachable magazine capability.

Restrictions: No use of centerfire firearms or .22 rimfire magnums.

Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection. All competitors MUST attend the safety / match briefing.

Match Description: Each competitor will be assigned a number during the sign-in process. Two competitors will be selected at random to engage their respective reactive targets. The first to successfully engage all their assigned targets and hit the stop target will win that round. This routine will continue for an additional times before competitors are divided into one of two squads for double eliminations. A more detailed match description will be conveyed following the mandatory safety briefing.

.22LR Two-Gun Match – Man on Man

Range: Pistol Range

Targets: Various steel targets of different sizes and shapes will be used. Placement will be at about 20’ to 75’. Some targets will be reactive and others will not.

Firearm(s) / Ammunition: Any manual or semi-automatic rifle or handgun with optics or open sights capable of shooting a .22 rimfire round is acceptable. Most competitors favor a semi-automatic pistol and rifle with optics and detachable magazine capability.

Restrictions: No use of centerfire firearms or .22 rimfire magnums.

Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection. All competitors MUST attend the safety / match briefing.

Match Description: Each competitor will engage their respective targets in the prescribed order of engagement, then the tie breaker stop plate. Shooters will begin with 10 rounds only. Shooters may reload to finish if necessary but each reload may not contain more than 10 rounds.

Modified International Rapid Fire Match

Date: Saturday, 06/29/2019

Time: Start: 10:00 AM to 02:30 PM

Range: Pistol Range

THIS MATCH IS TO BE SHOT WITH CENTERFIRE HANDGUNS OF 9mm, 38 SPECIAL OR LARGER CALIBER USING ANY SIGHTS (INCLUDING OPTICAL). THERE WILL BE 2 CLASSES: REVOLVER AND SEMI-AUTO.
THE SHOOTER STARTS CENTERED FACING FIVE USPSA-TYPE TARGETS ABOUT 20 YARDS DOWNRANGE. A RUN WILL CONSIST OF SHOOTING 1 ROUND AT EACH TARGET IN SHORTER AND SHORTER TIME PERIODS. THE TIME PERIODS ARE 8, 8, 6, 6, 4 AND 4 SECONDS, TOTALING 30 SHOTS.
BRING PLENTY OF MAGAZINES OR SPEEDLOADERS. WE EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO SHOOT MULTIPLE TIMES, SO BRING PLENTY OF AMMO (AND POSSIBLY A SECOND HANDGUN).
HOLSTERS ARE PROHIBITED AT THIS MATCH.
ANYONE ARRIVING AFTER THE SAFETY BRIEFING HAS STARTED WILL NOT SHOOT.
DUE TO THE CHOICE OF TARGETS, IF IT IS RAINING, THE MATCH IS CANCELLED.

Sight-in Shooting Bench: A shooting bench will be positioned and targets set for use by competitors prior to starting their relay for sighting in to check scope zeros and make any necessary last minute adjustments. .22LR Pistol / Pistol Dueling Tree Match – Man-On-Man

Range: Pistol Range

Targets: Two (2) Rimfire Dueling Trees and a number of other reactive metallic targets position at varying distances between 36 feet and 75 feet.

Firearm(s) / Ammunition: Any rimfire pistol capable of holding multiple rounds and using either open or optical sights. Most competitors will fire between 12 to 20 rounds and favor a semi-automatic rifle with a changeable ten round magazine capacity and equipped with a Red Dot Optical Sight.

Restrictions: No use of rimfire magnums. Magazine capacity is limited to ten (10) rounds maximum and a magazine change may be required.
Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection. All competitors MUST attend the mandatory safety / match briefing.

Match Description: Each competitor will be assigned a number during the sign-in process. Two competitors will be selected at random to engage their respective Dueling Trees and other reactive targets as they attempt to be the first to successfully engage all their assigned targets. This routine will continue for an additional five or more times before competitors are divided into one of two squads for double eliminations. A more detailed match description will be conveyed following the mandatory safety briefing.

.22LR Rifle Action Bench Rest Match Man on Man

Targets: Metal Plates of varying shapes and sizes set at distances of 25, 35, 50, 75 & 100 yds.

Firearm(s): .22 LR rimfire rifles of any action type in good operational condition. Any sights, optics or iron, allowed but good optics strongly recommended. All shoot head to head. Any front rest will be allowed but none are required. Shooters may use a sling and elbows on the bench if they wish.

Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection. All competitors MUST attend the safety / match briefing.

Restrictions: No use of rimfire magnums or .17 rimfire.

Match Description: This event requires shooting from a rifle bench. Two shooters will be called to the line at a time. The first shooter called will go to the designated position on the left, and the second shooter called will go the position on the right. At the start signal, each shooter will engage their targets from near to far, at 35, 50, 75, and 100 yards, then the tie breaker stop plate at 25 yards. A more detailed match description will be conveyed following the safety briefing.

.22LR Single Action Two-Gun Match

Range: Pistol Range

Targets: Various steel targets of different sizes and shapes will be used. Target placement will be about 20’ to 25’. Some targets will be reactive and others will not.

Firearm(s) / Ammunition: 22 LR caliber, single-action revolver, with fixed or adjustable iron sights. Double action revolvers can be used if fired single action. Open or optic sights.
22LR caliber, manually-operated lever, pump or bolt action rifle with iron sights and a minimum capacity of 10 rounds. Rear sights may be open, or tang-mounted receiver or ghost-ring aperture or optics.

Restrictions: No use of centerfire firearms or .22 rimfire magnums.

Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection. All competitors MUST attend the safety / match briefing.

Match Description: Each competitor will engage their respective targets in the prescribed order of engagement. Separate classes are established for revolver, rifle and 2-gun with iron and optical sights. Winners will be determined by the fastest time recorded. A more detailed match description will be covered following the safety briefing.

 

Bowling Pin Match (PENDING)
Date: Sunday, 09/22/2019 and 10/13/2019

Time: Start: 10:00 AM to 02:30 PM

Range: Rifle Range (Behind the 2-75 yard berm)

Targets: Five (5) or nine (9) Ten Pin regulation Bowling Pins depending on the class being shot. Pins will be positioned approximately 36 feet in front of the two (2) Portable “No Blue Sky” firing stations. Pins will be on a 4’ X 8’ table.

Firearm(s) / Ammunition: Any rimfire or centerfire Revolver or Semi-automatic Pistol capable of holding multiple rounds using either open or optical sights.

Restrictions: No use of rifles or shotguns.

Safety: All firearms will be brought to the range unloaded and cased. Competitors and observers will provide their own ear and eye protection and may wish to bring chairs as this match is held down range. All competitors MUST attend the mandatory safety / match briefing that begins at 10:00 AM SHARP.

Match Description: This is a timed event. Competitors may elect to shoot in multiple classes; however, they may only shoot once in each of the classes offered. Each competitor will shoot three (3) separate back-to-back times at the pins in their class. The best time of the three relays will be recorded as their final performance. Competitors may elect to shoot in any of the following classes: 1) 9MM pistol or revolver with any sights, 2) Semi-auto pistol with optic sights, 3) Semi-auto pistol with open sights, 4) Revolver with optic sights, 5) Revolver with open sights, 6) .22LR Pistol or Revolver with optic sights, 7) .22LR Pistol or Revolver with open sights, 8) Pocket Pistol (Barrel length 3.5” or less) or Revolver (Barrel length 3” or less) with any sights. Competitors will shoot at nine (9) pins in the 9MM class while only five (5) pins will be shot at in all other classes. Competitors may shoot as many rounds as necessary to strike their designated number of pins.

Targets: Bowling pins and various reactive steel targets of different sizes and shapes will be used. Placement will be at about 20’ to 75’.

Firearm(s) / Ammunition: Any manual or semi-automatic rifle or handgun with optics or open sights capable of shooting a .22 rimfire round is acceptable. Most competitors favor a semi-automatic pistol and rifle with optics and detachable magazine capability.

Restrictions: No use of centerfire firearms or .22 rimfire magnums.

Match Description: The match will consist of three separate stages; one with pistol only, one with rifle only, and one with both pistol and rifle. Every competitor will shoot each stage against the timer. The shooter with the lowest combined time will be declared the winner.
