Summer Skeet League

The Summer Skeet League will be running for 15 weeks, starting May 18th thru Aug 24th. This event is open to all members and member guests. $20 registration fee per entrant to which goes towards the end of season picnic and prizes. There will be a poster board in the Trap & Skeet clubhouse to sign up and record scores. Awards will be given for high score and most improved!

Use the prior week to establish a score for calculating a handicap. Participants complete 10 scores of 50 targets during the 15 week span and are recorded under the honor system. A picnic will be held after the final week of the season with food, drinks, and prizes to celebrate
the results! The Summer League is open to members and member guests. A $20 registration fee will be collected to fund the picnic and awards. Participants pay for their own targets. Each participant is responsible for recording the results of the 50. targets shot. The targets may be shot ANYTIME (in advance or arrears) over the 15 weeks of the league. Be forthright in declaring that the 2 rounds you are shooting will be your “League Scores” don’t decide after shooting a good round to record that score. To give shooters of all abilities an equal opportunity to win a prize, a handicap method will be used for scoring: Score will be calculated based on the prior week’s score. The math will be 47 minus the prior week’s score. If the result is negative, the handicap will be zero. Score handicap is not dependent on gauge, any gauge may be used, and your score handicap will be calculated on the raw 50 targets shot. There will be a poster board in the Trap & Skeet house to sign up and record scores. A copy of the scoring procedures will be posted as well. Awards will be given for high score and most improved over the summer.
