WWII Re-Enactors Training Event

On Saturday May 9th from 8:00am to 6:00pm RF&G will be hosting a group of WWII Re-Enactors. This event will be open to all members, your families, and the general public. The 43ID 169th Co. F Re-Enactors will be hosting a Spring training event lead by Capt. Douglas Crawford, Commander. Their mission is to educate the public, honor the Greatest Generation, and train its members in authentic military skills, discipline, and leadership. This Recreated WWII Army Infantry Division served from 1941-1945. They have several members with relatives who served in the 169th. We will be having a special guest at the re-enactors event on Saturday May 9th. Around midday we are expecting 101 year old Robert Garabedian, a WWI fighter pilot, CLICK HERE to read his bio.

In the afternoon there will be a live fire exercise at the rifle range followed by ceremonial and maneuver training with blanks at their encampment in the field.
