.22 LR Metallic Silhouette Match

9:00 AM to 12:00, at Rifle range, .22 LR rimfire rifles only, standard velocity or subsonic ammo only, no high-speed (>1300 fps). Riflemen coming after 9:00am will be allowed to shoot with last person to line at approximately 11:30 am, two relays possible time permitting. This event requires shooting from standing position only at metal silhouettes targets at distances of 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Slings will be allowed but no palm-rests, hooked butt-plates, or shooting jackets. Exception: Physically challenged Riflemen may shoot from wheelchairs and use customized hand rests/butt plates enabling them to hold firearm safely. Cost: $5, Youth <18 Free. Top scorers in each class – Senior 65+, Adult, Women, Youth win back entry fee cost $5.

A sighting-in bench and targets will be set-up for use to check scopes and make last minute sighting adjustments. Eye and hearing protection are required, and all rifles must be brought to the range and firing line unloaded and cased. ****Work Hours Available: Set-up at 7:30am, Clean-up at 12. Note: Targets are the larger pistol sized metal silhouettes on swingers or auto-resetting, requiring no resetting, and placed in ricochet containment boxes.
