Rimfire and Air Rifle Benchrest at Pistol Range

Rimfire Rifle and Air Rifle Benchrest Match at pistol range  

Rockville Fish & Game Club, Gate B, Fish & Game Rd, Vernon, CT 

8 am registration, 8:30 am safety meeting, 9 am match start 

.22 LR and air rifle match will consist of 3 25 shot targets for aggregate.  

.22 LR will be shot at 50yds. following American Rimfire Association guidelines. 25 shots within 20 minutes.  

   There will be a third rifle class “Sporter” designed to emphasize shooter skill rather than equipment. This class is for rifles designed to be carried around for sporting purposes. Sporter class will shoot at 25 yards.

   Modifications to factory rifles of a sporting character, such as a barrel, trigger, or stock upgrade are allowed.  

   Total weight of rifle with all attachments, including empty magazine, scope, etc. must not weigh more than 10 1/2 lbs.  

   Trigger pull weight to be not less than 2 lbs.  

   Any optic is allowed but must be set at 9X maximum. Spotting scopes will be necessary but not mandatory.  

   Ammunition must be widely available standard velocity .22 LR, at a cost of no more than $0.25/round.  

   Air rifle (.177 & .22 cal) will be shot at 25 yards following the United States Air Rifle Benchrest rules.  

   Larger caliber air rifles will shoot at 50 yds in an air rifle class.
