Club-wide Spring Clean Up

The Club’s annual spring cleanup is scheduled for April 20 weather permitting. If rained out, April 21. We will meet at the pavilion 0800 Saturday morning. Areas to be cleaned – main clubhouse, air rifle ranges, rifle/pistol ranges, upper and lower ponds, archery range, pavilion, and all access roads.

The club has limited equipment. You will need to bring your own rakes, shovels, leaf blower, lopping shears, tarps for hauling leaves, and chainsaws with experienced operators. RFG club has a few members that bring their own heavy equipment (backhoe and bobcat needed for spring cleanup). The club may also need a bulldozer, portable sawmill, and an excavator at a future date.

Remember SAFETY is most important, bring gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and personal protective clothing/gear.

Lawn mowing season is approaching, so we need to create a maintenance schedule. Zero turn mower experience preferred, but not necessary, we will train.

If you are interested in joining, please attend. At that time, we will be able to create a master list of trades people whom we may need to call on for technical advice or service.

We will break up into teams. Venue heads or designated individuals need to attend this Spring cleanup to manage their team. No manager – possibly no clean up.
