DEEP Hunter Safety Archery Class

The club is looking to be very active in 2024 holding several DEEP Bow Hunter Safety classes.

You will not be able to register for the classes until 30 days before a class is held. Registration can be done through the CT Deep website by clicking on CT Hunting and Trapping, Hunter and Trapper Education Program and Bow or Firearms Hunter Safety Courses.

Previous classes have filled up quickly so we have set aside a limited number of spaces allocated for club members and friends. If you would like to attend a class let me know you want one of the spaces by contacting Mike Ose (860-944- 4179) for the Bow class. The spaces are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

We are looking for people who are interested in becoming a Hunter Safety Instructor. It is a great way of helping preserve our sport and hunting heritage. If you are a hunter or have an interest in hunting consider joining us at a class and getting a first-hand look at what is involved. The initial commitment would be the day of the class and a couple of hours of preparation. Call Mike if you are interested or have questions.
